ok there are a few choices, all have manual transmissions.
99+ wrangler with the 4.0
99-01 prelude
00-20 protege5 (wagon thing)
99-01 accord 4 cyl
03 or so S-ER Spec V
86 Pinto 4-Speed
80 Chevette 4-Speed
91 CRX thats mad tight 5-Speed
99 Model Grocery Store Buggy (manual)
95 Model Broom with horse head on it
98 Re-release of The best of the 80s soundtrack on records
the idea is to spend less them 11k on a loan. if you would tell me what you think of them or if you have an suggestions that would be great. it has to be either FWD or 4x4/ awd. thanks for the help

none of those really jump out at me as something I would be interested in but... thats just me. Before you buy research each on a forum to see what issues they have.

i vote prelude
just FYI, any sentra older than 2007 is REALLY small inside.. as in i have to put the seat all the way down and back to get in, and my knees still hit the dashguard and my head still rubs the ceiling with the seat all the way back

I would go with the Wrangler. As for Cougars, too many girls drive the newer ones. Not that that's bad...but...er...whatever.

Here's the question are you planning on doing anything other then just driving in snow to need a 4wd? If not then all you will get is bad gas mileage. If I was you i'd get a nice econemy car and a beat 4wd for the winters or better keep the stang and buy a beater for the winters.

cougars are BAD!! my sister had one and it had nothing but transmission problems..apparently that was one of the reasons why they stopped making them too
