I went over to a buddies house, who was just trying to get rid of some parts, so i came home with some good stuff
For the TC:

Complete head. I have to return the cam gear though

Engle 55 camshaft...

And followers

Valve cover.

Tranny k-member.
Basically, the plan is to get my buddy to take the head into the machine shop he works at, tank it, mag it, deck it if it needs it, cam bearings, cut big valves in, valve guides if it needs it, and a valve job. From there, take the head over to my friend who would port it and do a very nice job. Buy some new, higher rate springs, some good valve stem seals, slap the cam in, throw it on the car and haul some ass. Probably end up getting a log header, since theyre cheap, and still better than a stock manifold, and have an intake manifold gutted and ported, with a supercoupe throttle body.
For the red bird, i didnt get much, but its still important:

Mustang k-member.

Tranny tunnel plate, for the lower shifter boot when you go 5-speed

nice, cheap/free stuff rocks. Someone gave me a 3.8 single port full motor (minus accesories) and I ripped it apart and made 400 bucks off it it, and learned a good bit of how it all goes together.

ah, I figured it would be a nice thing to use as a template for cutting the hole in the trans tunnel, then Im going to rivet and seal the seams since the aod cars dont have the hump and flat spot on top to raise the shifter, im assuming ur doing about the same then?
