A 2000 v6 stang and the e brake slack in the handle is three clicks, is there a way to resolve this or am i just going ot have to live with it, ive looked around and cant find anything, should i get a haynes manual also?

I don't believe there is a way to "tighten" your e-brake cable. It does like your accelerator wire and such and eventually starts stretching which will, eventually, lead to it failing (breaking). I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure your cable has just stretched out. Shouldn't be a very expensive part to replace if need be, but I really have no idea.

there was a TSB on the ebrake of the earlier 94-98 at least stangs. Im sure yours has the same issue, they just put a clip or something on it, quick and easy, and it works with out as much leverage~ not sure about what they do though.
