Valve cover gaskets on a 99?

I just want to visually inspect the springs and rr's but for some stupid reason I don't know if the valve covers use a gasket or not. it's one of those dumb questions I have to ask.

Not a dumb answer. Actually the Valve cover gasket is rubber and reuseable.

71 to 100 in lbs. But honestly I just tighten them till they meet medium resistance. I have never had one leak!!!
