Ok, I have a friend who wants the 18" polished 03's on my red stang, which are about 50% or more through the tread, 265's on it. He has new 245's on 17's with the stock machined finished 03's. both are replicia. If if was to trade how much $ should I ask for in return?? His tires are way thin but new. Also as a possibility, I'm gonna see from response, but I thought that if I get rid of the 18's on my red car I would put the oem ones off of spec's old car and then buy chromes for the black one, b/c I think chrome is hot on black, just imo. What kind of wheels would y'all suggest since you know his car, or my car, like 03's or saleens, what size 17, 18, def. 275 tires though. But if I could get a little help on both of these questions, i would appreciate it. thanks, in advance. Matt

I wouldnt trade just sell him the wheels straight up, tell him he can ebay those wheels and get his money in a week.
245's on 9 inch rims look tacky.
For my old car I am partial to 03 cobras, dont care for 17 inch saleens, they look cheap. Look at oem ford rims and see which you like.

I just have no clue. how much were the chrome ones you already have?? thanks alot

I paid 150 for all 4 of my 03 cobra rims... but... I got a deal they had tires with them but I sold them for 200~
I would take 03 cobras over saleens any day of the week, look much better with the car. The chrome ones are pretty cheap from afs new, look them up on google.
For yours with good tires 800 bucks maybe~

I think black cars look better with chrome. I sold my 95 cobra Rs in mint condition with worn (90% tread loss on tires) for 650~ so I would at least try to get 750~ if they are all in great shape.

18s look better but... 17s are cheaper all around, in determining that decision you just need to decide which you want to afford~ 275/35/18 is the tire size i would run.
See if yokahoma makes them in their avs es100 model.

Hahaha, this is a funny thread. But yeh, I think the factory 03/04's in chrome look nice on that car. Uhm...I'm kinda partial to FR500's, I wonder what those would look like in chrome on that car...hm...
