I say keep them as they are. I think they provide a nice contrast to the black paint.

Here are a couple of pics I took today (not very good, overcast day). I moved my spoiler back about an inch. Looks a little different. Unfortunately, I put a few small scatches on the body next to the trunk lid in the process :oops:. I'm hoping they can be buffed.
