torque converter

I have an 02 gt auto. i got 4.10 gears in it. i want to get a tc and was recently told to get a 9.5" TCI that stalls between 2600-2800. what do you guys think, does that sounds right. also what gains can i expect. thx

TCI converters are good converters but the Stallion torque converter is probably the best of the bunch in the 2500-3000 range

do you think 3000 stall would be good. i plan on blower within the year so would that still be a good stall with a blower. also correct me if im wrong but the higher the stall the more torque your getting right?

it essentially means you get to the power band quicker. that stall would be all sorts of fun with a centrifugal blower

That would be a very nice stall for centrifigul blowers seeing as they start seeing full boost at that range, if it were a KB i would go with a lower stall.
