Tony is my son. For those that do not know.
His setup is going to be like this:
95 5 speed single port stock shortblock, not rebuilt.
BV/BH heads, that is big valve/beehive spring conversion.
Race ported lower intakes, sheetmetal plenum on cut stock upper.
9.5:1 CR or higher.
Cobra twin-bore TB.
Stock headers, (I've claimed they should be good to around 300 BHP){we'll see}
2.25" duals w/H pipe (also claimed to be good to 300 BHP)
oh yeah, BIG CAM.
230/230* 108 LCA,
.609"/.588" lift (I/E)
It's really big but I'll have the CR to work with it and the intakes and heads
are a good match too. Specs and the formulas fit for at least 300 BHP if I
get the upper intake runners and flow correct. Runner length in the upper
is ~3" already, I removed around 6" from the upper.
Should be the biggest baddest stock shortblock HCI swap EVER, and
could be one of the top 5 highest HP NA builds ever.

We have an 1/8 mile track here, I think we'll get it sorted out there and
then go visiting I want to hit every V6 meet I can make.
It'll be our father-son activities.

UPDATE:
Tony wants to have it running this week, so we are gonna just port the heads
and add big valves, stiffer springs I have on hand, and ported intakes and TB.
Stock Cam for now, but I've always wanted to know how good or bad the stock
cam really is. It's a 95 so it has the "4.2" cam stock, (similar specs) so at least
it's bigger than a 99^ 3.8 SPI cam. I'll also add 1.8 adj. RR's later and see what
a maxxed-out stock cammer can do. With the BV heads and all porting, it should
approach 200 BHP if we're lucky. Might hit 170-180 RWHP in this trim. Then I'll
know exactly what the cam swap does for it!
We'll save big by not getting a new fuel pump and injectors, and the tune
should be close enough since we are not changing cams. MAF adjusts for most
airflow changes that are not from a bigger cam. I'll have more $$$ later
