yea the rear will stop better but they wont outpower the front. I wouldnt upgrade the rear brakes though, they dont look any bigger than the OEM ones (no one will notice) but if you can get the brackets from ford for cheap and some good rotors it wont cost a lot.
My advice is to get oem cobra/mach1/bullitt brakes for the front and stainless steel lines. Then get a set of GOOD bear rotors (not cheap-o rotors that will warp) you can get BADASS decela bear rotors for 400 (for the front) they are two peice and are the badness or you can spend 140~ or so and get good ones.
I would NOT get slotted and drilled unless they are a GREAT brand and wont warp (have warranty or something on it) slotted is as far as I would go other wise.
