head question

I am looking to buy a 4.6 motor. I was told it has 5.4 heads. Is this correct and will factory exhaust bolt up. Thanks for the help.

I believe the heads are similar but to bolt it to the intake would take modification

factory exhaust manifold should be the same, though if it were me, id do LT's while the motor is out, make a weekend header install a 30 minute job.

I don't see it making a difference... but yeah, get some LT headers while you're there ... you won't be sorry later, if you ever plan on doing it.
