I have a V6 mustang. and I want to put a muffler on it so it sounds mean... but a friend of mine said that if I did that, that it was going to sound like a honda... yeah know that annoying loud sound(wweeeeeeee) and that kinda made me think.. will it really do that or can I go put on a nice sounding muffler, and which one should I go for??? Thanx for you help.

Magnaflows are affordable and have a pretty good sound.
That's the first one's I started with & liked them.

^^ at high rpms things can be constrewed. I would buy a bolt up exhaust kit from magnaflow or whom ever and stick it on, it wont sound ricy unless you are high in the rpms, then not very bad. You can also have an adaptor pipe put in and bolt up a GT catback. The even fire on the v6 helps to kill its sound potential.

yeah and drone like a beached whale in the 9th ward in New Oleans!!!!
The fact is there are so many different mufflers to just automatically just buy flowmasters because everyone one else gets them. They are really loud mufflers with poor exhaust flow characteristics. But if you want loud then they will be great for you.
