Hey guys just some quick questions. I would have searched but didnt know how to word it. On a 1998 mustang GT 4.6L, what is the best nitrous to use? Wet or dry? and what size shot is good for a stock fuel pump and stock motor???
thanks guys.
Which kit do you guys suggest also, NX, Zex, or Nitrous Works?

Wet shots are always better because youre delivering the nitrous/fuel mixture a close as possible to the cylinder, which leaves less chance for pooling and greater atomization. wet kits though are harder to plumb/install though.
either NX or Zex are good.

You must be thinking about direct port nitrous kits. You can get wet kits that inject much earlier in the intake tract.

a kit that injects N20 and fuel together though the injectors is EXTREMLY expensive. You will probably looking into a kit that just taps the N2O nozzle at the throttle body. The car just adjusts the fuel level for the N20. I would have some safty cut offs and get a tune with it and all the other little things. 40 bucks for a minute of N20 is to expensive for me lol.

true, but if youre going to do it, do it right the first time, tap as close to the cylinders as possible. also theres that NOSzle that is basically a Y injector, the bottom goes into the cylinder like normal, and one of the tops goes to the fuel rail like normal, and the other is where the nitrous is installed.

1000 bucks + the extra fuel you will burn and the constant wear and tear on the stock engine.

Why are you guys talking about direct port injection? For a stock fuel pump and injectors, you wont need something that extravagant. Just get a normal fogger kit that sprays the nitrous in your intake tube. The only difference between wet and dry kits are that a wet kit sprays both fuel and nitrous into the intake. With a wet kit, its sprayed roughly 4-6 inches before your throttle body. With a dry kit, its only nitrous being sprayed in there, and the nozzle goes before the MAF. With a dry kit, when the nitrous goes through the MAF, the IAC recognizes that the cars going to need more fuel, and sends that to the computer. Because of that possible error, wet kits are much safer. I wouldnt exceed a 100 shot though on your stock injectors/fuel pump... but thatll give you a good safe HP addition
