no, its a mini durango, awd with 300hp. and sadly, itll sell just for its performance, since 300hp and awd will kick alot of cars double the price's asses, and even with little mods will make a whole lot of cars look bad on the strip. especially if they get Mopar Staged upgrades like the SRT4 has gotten, its gonna be a beast. its dodges answer to the STI and EVO, and its looking pretty good numbers wise.
now if ford only got their shit together and brought some austrailian stuff over, like the falcon and typhoon and shit like that that laughs at evo numbers. oh nevermind, that would make the mustang look bad, oh precious mustang. seriously, in my drunken state of affairs right now, ford, if youre going to hold a car like a mustang so high and mighty, at least make them something to be high and mighty about, a 4.6 isnt nothing to write home about. cmon, a 5.4l stuffed with 4l valves would shut alot of makers down, it would bring about an end to the F-body 1/4 mile reighn, and would make even vettes look bad.

Pre-06 Vettes will look bad towards the end of this year.....and older vettes already look bad with the terminator....
The F-Body reign is already over because they are extinct.
However, I do agree that ford needs to think a little more about their offering. Redoing the taurus every couple of years and just renaming it isn't going to cut it.
But, none of this is going to happen until they can get thier costs down...and as long as the unions keep pushing for more and more and more...production costs will never think about coming down.....and until dealerships stop trying to rape everyone with markups when something nice does come out (the GT, 03 cobra, and soon to be out 07 GT-500)...sales will not improve either.

It is called the Caliber. SRT version will be out sometime this year according to the website. It has a six-speed 300 hp, but dosen't say anything about AWD. They are using the regular version for rental cars around here already.

The dodge sheople will buy it up. Afterall, it is the same as all of their other offerings now...just in a different size. Now, you can get the Ram...dakota...durango...magnum...or this ugly thing...get one of each and line them up in order of height...same car, different height and back end.
Same boring shit offerings with no creativity...
