Which suspension system?

hey guys time to upgrade the suspension on the stang. going to use a kit from eibach. im looking at either their drag launch or the pro kits. most of my driving will be on the street, with some apperances at the track. the drag kit would be my choice but with only making a few runs at the track im not sure. advice, input,??

It just depends on whether or not you want to sacrifice handling ability on the street for quicker launches at the track. It's simply a matter of which is sounds better to you: 1) the car feeling like it's on rails but having some traction problems coming out of the hole... or 2) being able to squat and leave the line like a bat out of hell but having to take it somewhat easy in the curves.

I personally spend way more time on the street than I do at the track, so I chose to go with a stiffer suspension. That's just my personal preference though.

Also, I recommend you check out Maximum Motorsports, they are the best place to go for Mustang suspension parts, even though they most cost a little more than some other places. Their parts are top-notch.

Also is it your daily driver or not? My car will only see the track maybe a couple times a year and thats doubtful. I still went with a little stiffer suspension, since its not my daily driver.

the car will be driven on the weekends. i have a truck for work during the week

Are you looking to do just springs or the whoel thing? With new springs, Id recommend new shocks/struts at the same time as the springs since your stock ones arent valved for the increased spring rates that either of those springs will give you. You'll also probably need to invest in some caster camber plates to get a correct alignment. For shocks/struts Id look at some tokico's if yorue on a budget, or some bilsteins if you want the best. I'd just leave the stock springs and go with new rear control arms along with new shocks and struts.
