Venezuela government is sole owner of Citgo gasoline company

Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez has vowed to bring down the U.S. government.
Chavez, president of Venezuela, told a TV audience: "Enough of imperialist aggression;
we must tell the world: down with the U.S. empire. We have to bury imperialism this century."

The guest on his television program, beamed across Venezuela, was Cindy Sheehan,
the antiwar activist. Chavez recently had as his guest Harry Belafonte, who called
President Bush "the greatest terrorist in the world."

Chavez is pushing a socialist revolution and has a close alliance with Cuban
dictator Fidel Castro.

Regardless of your feelings about the war in Iraq, the issue here is that we have
a socialist dictator vowing to bring down the government of the U.S. And he is
using our money to achieve his goal!

The Venezuela government, run by dictator Chavez, sole owner of Citgo gas co.
Sales of products at Citgo stations send money back to Chavez to help him in his vow
to bring down our government.

Please decide that you will not be shopping at a Citgo station.

Yeh...my family has had a citgo acount for years...we just cancelled it and we are moving to another company. Pretty crazy stuff...but I guess all we can do is try and run them out of business....then nuke them and keep the oil as a booty lol

Don't guess it really effects me, anyway. I don't even know where a nearby Citgo gas station is...much less ever get gas there.

I was calling BS on the sensationalism and the Cindy Sheehan being on a Venezualian TV show with the dictator. I'm not a big fan of hers, but surely she isn't that retarded. Maybe I jumped the gun, so if somebody has a reputable link (no NewsMax) about it...link me up.

This isn't the first time that dictator has said these type things. He was put in power last year, and when Katrina hit CNN reported he said he would withhold oil until the price of gas reached somewhere north of 5.00 a gallon.

"When are you going to bomb?"
"Where are you going to bomb?"
"What ordinance will you be dropping?"

B61-11's wouldn't cause nearly that much damage. They're small yield "bunker-busting" bombs. Designed to penetrate and explode underground (to bust bunkers...). If you're really looking to do severe damage like that, you'd need high-yield air-burst weapons. A single Ohio class nuclear submarine would be much more effective. An Ohio class sub carries 24 Trident ICBM's, each with 5 Mk.5 re-entry vehicles. The Mk.5 holds a W88 warhead, rated at 450kt yield. You could air-burst it over civilian and military targets to do maximum damage. 120 air-bursts would pretty much devestate every commercial/military target in the country.

Dont really want High Yield. We do want the oil and we dont want the whole place to glow for 1,000 years do we!!!!

The B61-11 is a low to intermediate yield weapon to hit the government if it is underground. The B61-7 is a 10kt -300kt weapon. The B61 has many variants from .35kt to 300kt the W88 goes beyond that but the is a end of game checkmate weapon. Definately not some thing we need to use on ol Hugo!!!

just do what we did for hiroshima and nagasaki before we nuked them drop millions of leaflets that basically said "we have a atomic bomb and WILL use it. we are not against the citizens of japan, but those who control it. if you do not wish to die, leave these cities immediately."
