I have two Kicker Comps in a custom box w/ a 760w Pioneer amp that make a lot of unwanted vibrations in my trunk. I'm not sure what it is exactly that makes the vibrating sound but I want to eliminate it, any suggestions?

You can run dynamat or something similar in your trunk. Also, it doesn't hurt to run rubber grommets in your trunk on all of the bolts and such.

Try dynomat, make sure the spoiler is tight if you can, license plate frames rattle

Dynomat is very nice stuff. Give that a shot. Not much else you can do if everything is tightened down.

I don't want the insulation (dynomat) to make my trunk look bad. I want a clean look.

I have 40 ft of dynamat in my trunk, the only spot you can see it is on my trunk lid...and that really wasn't a necessity spot to put it. I am however, putting a deck lid cover on to cover that up...

Lot of choices to add some more carpetting and such. One of the sponsors sells a trunk lid mat to cover some of it up.

Stuffing a blanket in your spare tire compartment will elimintate one or two, stuff your trunk lid with cotton, use 2 sided automotive tape to tape down your license plate. Something else that rattled really bad was the trunk latch on the bar. I wrapped it in black electrical tape and that helped but you have to reapply every so often. Other than dynomat, that's all you can do. I have one under my trunk that I have no idea what it could be.

I had 2 12's with no rattling after I did this:
Ran some foam door sealant between the back window and rear speaker deck cover thingy... that rattled like a mofo, and stuffed some socks in between the deck cover thing and that foam head rest on the rear seat. Doing that made no more vibrations for me

take off all the panels and carpet in the trunk, and apply the dynomat to the metal surfaces everywhere in that trunk. then put the carpet and shit back in, and nobody is the wiser.

dynAmat FTW, it will do wonders on your road noise if you line the doors with it too
