FREAKIN A! My refelctor fell off in my headlight

OK Im frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just bought some cobra headlights and I open the box to find the reflector has fallen off one of them. All night Ive been trying to rig different ways to get to thing back the way its suppose to be and nothings working! I have about an inch wide of space to work with. How do I fix it? Ive tried needle nose pliers and even a stick and gum hahaha. If I take the headlight apart I may as well trash it right?  |

You should have sent it back ASAP..
Since you didn't, send it back now.
And if you still have it after reading the above, you can clear the headlights and reseal them. That's what I did to a set of stock headlights.

ebay isn't as bad as just buying from somebody though. You'll have to deal with the seller though. Good luck.

negative. you can take the clear lens off the front of the housing with little more than some patience and an oven.
we just blacked out the housings on my buddies 06 WRX. we took the headlights off the car, popped off all the clips and plastic clips holding the clear front and rear housing together. then stuck it in the oven for 16 minutes at 300* and let the silicone sealer get all nice and gooey, then they slid apart. we then painted his rear housing satin black, reapplied silicon sealer, stuck both halves back together, and repeated for the other side. of course, youll be removing(or fixing) the reflectors.
it sounds hard and scary, but after doing the first side, it was like "all these years i was scared to do that to one of my cars, and its so simple?"

Are you talking about the corner lenses on 94-98 mustangs or the 99+ style?
