I want to take my front grill off pony and all. A heard I needed special tools like an L-plier or something like that. Also I've seen some ponies in the street w/o them and the have a flat tappered bar running vertically (I think it supports the pony) and others w/o that bar. I don't want to have that bar. I want to be able to see my radiator through. Can someone tell something about this?

What you will need is a Mach 1 grill delete.

Do you mean I can't take off my grill w/o having the vertical bar running across? What does the Mach 1 grill delete kit include?

Basically you are wanting your car to look like my sig right? You will need the lower and upper pieces of a mach 1 grill delete.

you have 4 holes in the front bumper thanks to the bolt locations on the stock grill the mach 1 bottom peice fills those you will then need the correct back radiator cover from a mach 1 or cobra (both are the sam) you then can choose to put a running pony or not.

You mean if you take your stock grill out without getting the lower piece? The lower grill portion is connected to your front bumper with 4 screws, therefore you will have 4 screw holes in your front bumper without the bottom piece by god.

Yupp, just be sure to get the 3 piece. You should have a lower piece, an upper piece, and a piece to connect a running pony to. Put it all in and you're done by god

I've actually never done it on a stock bumper...when I upgraded to the roush bumper it basically came with it's own bottom piece. I just bought a top piece from ford and got it done. You can probably pick up a 3 piece kit for around 75 bucks on ebay or from one of the sponsors...by god

the corbs's bumper is made different with out holes so they dont have a delete kit, they never had anything to delete. The main item is the radiator cover thing you got to replace it, its cheap though. The little bottom peice is just to cover up the holes left.
You can buy a 99 style cobra front for 330 with fog lights... cant beat that.

It might make it easier, but u can still take out the stock grill w/o them. It's just a PITA
probably around 15 to 20 minutes. Most of your time will be spent removing the stock grille. Should be around $60-$80

I took the screws off of the top of the grill but I don't know how to get underneath the bottom lip of the grill. I can't get the grill off. How do I do it?
