From what I heard from a friend of mine, they were going to put an 8 cyl engine in them. But because of costs, they decided to stick with the 6 cyl, and of course a twin turbo edition.
They don't have a concept body YET. So they are using the G35 Body as a shell for the Skyline's performance parts and such. Notice the Quad exhaust and the interesting body of the G35? I bet it's going to look sweet.
These pics were taken in Germany at a car test site.

actually, that's the real deal, there may be some minor changes come production, but that's the basic look of the "gt-r" as they'll call in in the US
and the v8 rumor is just that, a rumor. nissan themselves dropped that one in a few ears at the plant to see who was leaking info. the plan was always v6 power
check out the detroit auto show next week, i believe they'll be officially unveiling the concept, as well as the redesigned 2007 altima and maxima
let me just say, the altima looks completely different than the 05/06. it's damn sexy
p.s. - i know all this, becuz i work at nissan and have seen these cars
so shut up

Hmmm.. That's a good thing, I always hated the look of the altima. The thing is pretty quick, and to see it look kinda ugly-family car really kills it for me.

The exhaust is gorgeous, but I agree on the bumper. Look at how sharp the line is on it compared to the smooth style of the front.
Not too big on the hood either. Use one big scoop or none at all is what I say. Those 2 dinky little things arent cutting it.
