I do!!!
Now I think I'll have to repaint my interior trim to match the gauge bezels
They are easy to swap but you have to swap your old circuit board into the new gauge set or else the car does not start. It's not difficult, just 6 screws and one electrical connection (a plug, no soldering at all to do)

eh, its not the redline that wins the race, its everything in between..........
look at diesel trucks. 4k redline, but they make gobs and gobs of power and can run 11's with not very much invested. doesnt necessarily relate, but just cause a car redlines at 10k doesnt mean its making any useful power up there, and theres not many that can make a setup that does any good at those rpm's.

yes, I know, which is why I will have an engine that will make power up there. My dyno shows my power still rising at 6K rpm. That's how a centrifugal blower works. It will make more power at the higher rpm

You have a factory boost gauge. Go away.

alot of times though manufacturers will put in a gauge that is controlled by the ecu on some FI cars. i dont know how the cobras are, but i know the stock boost gauges on my dsm(as well as 1g's) are just a guesstimate based on the amount of air coming in, not the amount of pressure the intake is actually seeing.
a real boost gauge is either mechanical and reads pressure straight from the intake AFTER the source(be it sc or tc), or a electrical sensor, like a gm 3bar map sensor.
im gonna assume ford did it the right way, but i wouldnt be suprised otherwise. i would not trust my gauge unless it was reading straight from the plenum.

Mine has a tube that goes to it as you would hope, so T-ing off the line is all thats needed to wire that part of the gauge up
I may have a factory gauge but... when you look at a gauge that has a 0 at one end and a 10 at the other with NOTHING inbetween you have to worry about how retarded ford really is.

Cause it's supposed to go from zero, when it's off to ten when it's on. Nothing inbetween.
