SCT Tuners: Are they model specific?

I am trying to find an SCT Tuner as you may have noticed by my WTB thread.

Are SCT Tuners like Predators in that they are model specific? What I mean is, is there a tuner for a V6, a different one for a GT, and yet another for a Cobra? Or, do the 99-04 versions work on all models of 99-04 Mustangs?

I have found a couple for sale that were owned by V6 folks...so I want to know if it will work for me before I end up having to pay full price.

I think I remember some tuners be 'car' specific.

Out of curiousity, why was this moved? This is not a 4.6L specific question...this is a tuner specific question.

And, the answer is....if you buy an SCT Tuner for a 99-04 Mustang, you can use it on a V6, Mach 1, GT, Cobra, or Bullit.

The diablo predator has a model specific version...1 for V6, one for GT/Bullit/Mach 1/99+01 Cobra...and one for 03/04 Cobra
