I have a '99 V6 Stang that I let sit all winter. I started it a couple of times just to make sure it would start, but the last time I think I let it set too long.
So. I tried to start it and it crank till it drained the battery. So I jumped it with my van, still no success.
So I got some dry gas, tried that - still no success. So today, I changed the fuel filter - which alot claim is really easy, which it is after you have went to the store 3 times to buy the tool to remove the filter, then a lift and jacks, and then another trip after I snapped the tool, and needed to pickup some other tools.
After I changed the fuel filter, I put the van back on and let it charge the stang for awhile. I tried to start the stang several times, at one time, it almost turned over, but never did.
So, now I am not sure what to do and I am looking for suggestions from you all.
Do I change the plugs?
Car as 123,000 miles on it - had a tune up about 80k.
Thanks.
Keith
