I have never taken nyquil. I can't, because of my asthma. Don't ask me why, but I can't take it. Apparently it tightens my chest up too much and makes my asthma flare up insanely. Happened when i was really young, which is how they actually found out I had asthma. It sucks too, cause I have the worst sinus problems. Oh well.

If you look on the back and it has dextromethorphan (DXM) in it... it's gonna make you drowsy regardless of what the box may claim. DXM in large doses is actually a quite powerful psychedelic/dissociative which some say is more powerful than even LSD.
In other words, that shit'll make you trip balls.
Unfortunately, it can also be quite dangerous (especially when DXM isn't the only active ingredient in the drug... too much acetaminophen = long, painful death). Funny how it's legal while other far more safe and much less powerful drugs aren't...  |

i took nyquil once and woke up in the middle of the night so freaking hyper that i was tempted to go run a mile at 4am...in a blizzard....
made me hallucinate and crap...i'll never touch that stuff again

Guafinesin is also in most cough medicines and is an expectorant and that shit will strip your liver like a hardwood floor.
