It was pouring rain the whole way there, but I had paid for my tickets in advanced so I went anyway, lol. The rain made the car show field a little small, only 30 or so cars this year, but it didn't stop the drag racing. It was 2 o'clock by the time it stopped raining and the track was dried off, so there was no test and tune; they went straight into qualifying. The left lane of the track wouldn't hook, no matter how many times they prepped it between runs which made for some close calls, luckily everyone kept it off the wall. One car blew its rear end, and another ripped the studs off of the left rear right when he launched, the wheel went flying but the driver managed to keep the car off the wall and in his own lane. Other than that, it was fairly uneventful. There were over 100 True Street cars there, which is always fun to watch. All in all, it was a good time as usual.
