What is your favorite motor to be used in the mustang since 1979 and why.

Why 1979?
With those restrictions....I would say the 351 from the Saleen S351. I loved the car, and the potential for that engine is enough to make me want one. Sounds amazing too. Plus, it has more cubes so it must be better right? Lol
The 302 would be a close second though. The sound, the aftermarket, and the potential is great. Plus...it is a 5oh...what else would matter?
If we go pre-79, I have to say the 429 from the Boss. A beast.

302. cheap and easy and can be made fast without much work.

03/04 cobra motor.
600hp capable with decent tuning without touching the bottom(or top) end.
second would be 5.0 for its ability to get some great gains with little invested, and massive aftermarket.
