I was wondering if I can use aftermarket gt springs on my v6? I have a 98 mustang, and I was looking at buying a suspension kit form mrt-direct.com. has anyone done this or used this kit before?

Yes, most kits designed to lower a GT will lower a V6 also. Since the spring rates are higher than the stock setup, the difference in front end weight makes little or no difference in the drop. I have the Bullitt kit on my car and got the 3/4 inch drop as advertised.

True, yet GT springs are calibrated for a GT's weight. Sticking with V6 springs is your best bet.

I agree with Rob.
Stock v6 and GT springs have the same rears, but the front springs are different to adjust for the V8's heavier engine.
