K&N filter on cai?

i recently bought a cai and i was wondering if i should just keep the filter that came with it or should i replace it with a K&N filter ? will i get any more hp from using the K&N filter? or will it be about the same as the filter that came with the cai kit?

if your cai is off ebay, and the diamater is the same i.e. 3", then yeah you can replace it. If it feels like a cheap walmart filter, then by all means replace it with the K&N

Yeah, true, but he'll be able to clean it instead of discarding it now.
