I went from a 01 v6 to a 03 cobra and so far the cost is the same~ it runs me a bit more now and again due to I have to change the blower oil~ and intercooler fluid~ but its not that much. Parts im sure are a bit more... but I have a warranty on that for 3 more years~ If I didnt I wouldnt expect it to be 3x higher~
Gas costs more... not cuz it uses more (it gets nearly the same as my v6) its due to it has to be premium vs regular.

^^ I was hoping you would see this thread and respond.
I wish mine got the same mileage as a V6....but mine came with the Cement shoe attachment so the mileage sucks.

I'm a bad driver.
Execpt tomorrow...I will get about 50 mpg as I drive like a 90 yo woman since I have the stock tune and 15 lb pulley. Took forever to get 3 miles last night driving that way.

Its a little more expensive... just things like the tires you use, and other little odds and ends that come with more power and more chance of breaking things. Overall its not terrible though...

i appriciate your comments..reason why im asking is because i'm looking into it.. within five months i'll prolly be getting one.. (03-04) another thing, you have to change the blowers oil/intercooler fluid seperately?? and if so is this an easy task- like an oil change? or do i have to bring it to ford? and is there anything else you guys should warn me about or advise before i purchase one?

the oil is easy to change you just remove a bolt, jack the back of the car up, use a little suction turkey baster like thing drain it out, lower the car and put XX (8 oz i think) back in.

You can easily find modded ones for 25k+, If I we're you though, id try to find a stock one, then you know the engine+drivetrain hasnt been beaten to death with aftermarket parts and a dumb ass driver.
