Directions: From anywhere on the I-10 or I-12:
1. Proceed to the I-10 / I-110 split located near downtown Baton Rouge at the foot of the Mississippi River Bridge.
2. Take the I-110 North to the end (about 8 miles). That will be US 61. EXIT 8B (the right exit)
3. Take US 61 NORTH toward St. Francisville approximately 5.5 miles.
4. You are looking for FARRO Chemical at the corner of US 61 and West Irene Rd.
5. Turn left on West Irene Rd and proceed to the end (approximately 2.4 miles)
6. The end of the road IS the EVO center. It is located inside of the State Police JESTC facility.
THese guys have an event listed for the 4th...but I'm not sure about the date yellow was talking about. EVODRIFT.COM There is also a map of the track as well.

^ that's a different event you are referring too...I am not sure if that event is an SCCA sponsored event, but the one I am referring to is just a regular Central Louisiana Region (which is based out of Baton Rouge) Night Auto-x...Here is link to the CenLa website, although there site is under construction so most of the links aren't working right now:

Here is a link to the Delta region website which is just south of the CenLa region, but they have the dates listed for all CenLa events, and the event I am going to be running is August 18th at the EVO Center:

The EVO Center is just off Highway 61 which makes it easy for me to get to because 61 goes right through Vicksburg, so I go south down 61 until I get there...

I knew it was a different event, I just couldn't find the one you were talking about....but I did find the directions Louiy was looking for.
And no, the 4th is not an scca event...it is just a track rental.

Yes...Cody wants to use my car as a shop reference car...so I will be there. In fact I will probably be there early as he wants me to help him setup as well. Besides, it's only a few blocks from my house...gonna be hard to think of an excuse out of this one. lol

I am planning on it I believe...I want to get out there if for nothing else just to say hey. Kyle and I are spodda do his brakes this weekend as well, so I'm going to try and make it out.
Are you driving down and leaving all on saturday?
I know brad wanted to do this as well, but he can't get friday off, so he has to head back thursday night.

Yea, I am planning to drive down on saturday afternoon and drive back to Vicksburg late that night more than likely...a buddy of mine is coming down in his Civic Si for the event too, so i think we are planning to drive back to my place that night...

yall missed a good event on saturday night...there were a lot of cars out there...59 drivers total...the asphalt racing surface at the EVO center is really nice compared to the conrete tarmac i am used to running on...

it is a shame I have to work extra to afford to play with the car. but the extra work is ont the weekends so I usually am working when the car events are going on. damned if I do damned if I don't
