If you guessed me you're right.  My buddy works for SVT so I got a ride. All I can say is WOW! It was crazy fast and the ride quality was surprisingly smooth. highway wind noise was awesome. I was a little dissapointed with the exhaust sound (a little quieter than I expacted) but that is an easy change. I've attached a few pics for you to check out. I really liked the Red, White, and Blue My Color option in the dash.

believe it or not i thought one of the coolest things is on the speedo.. it says how many miles you got left til E. what a friggin good idea!

I liked the rears better when it said SHELBY all the way across the back instead of that little tag. Now THAT, was delicious.

they are not to bad, ford messed up on some of the minor changes they did to them.. like sticking the shelby words all on the left side instead of across the back etc etc. I will want to go drive one but I dont expect it to be 1000000x better than the 03/04 cobra... it is a LITTLE bit heavier, either way its a really nice idea as long as people dont let dealers screw them over on the price.

My friend says he doesn't even think the shelby and the terminator compare. Especially ride quality wise.

no doubt the 05+'s ride a good bit smoother, they should run a bit quicker to stock vs stock. They would have to or they would be a let down to the cobra name. From what ive seen ford will rate them at 450-475hp/tq putting them 60-85hp/tq over the terminator, but they added on like a TON of weight but it will still be a bit faster in the end. I would love to see one hit 11.9s stock
I dont think the shelby is quite that far above the terminator though.. not far enough out front that it cant be compared.
