some mod, eh? lol. The racks are from my mom's old minivan she hasn't owned for almost a year. The cross bars just happened to be the exact width of the bed of the ranger, so I put in a couple L-brackets and it can now old atleast 60 lbs with little to no stress. I might invest in another car/truck this summer, so if I do that I will probably buy this yakima rack Yakima: Product but this works for now, haha.
