That was taken from Vortech's website, the prices are pretty cheap compared to the prices of an 99-04 V6 supercharger. Unfortunately to me, the numbers in gain don't do anything for me. I was left with a, "is that it?" feeling.

This was taken from Procharger's website, they didn't give actual numbers on anything, and I'm not too sure what the gains might look like. Just keeping the V6 Owners a heads up!

That is the problem with putting a blower on a fairly stock engine.
Gains are ok, but not great.

Here is a list of power adders for the 4.0:

Afixer just got the Explorer Express Eaton M90 roots sC that looks pretty good. There will soon be turbo options for our cars soon. I'm still researching it and hope to finalize my decision soon for FI.

Just bought the V-2 SQ S-Trim supercharger from vortech and paid 2899.99 at jegs. Got lucky, because they miss printed the price on line and honored it for me. So all in all I saved almost 400. Now I have to find an cooler for it. Any suggestions?

450 rwhp seems to be the breaking point for them. They have the same problem all the other mod motors (minus the Terminators) have: shitty powdered rods. Also, they are more prone to failure from detonation due to the very small oil ring land on the pistons. The ring is a lot closer to the top of the piston than the older 4.6s. They did this to help scavenge unburnt fuel for emissions reasons. This is one reason you have to watch the tune so closely on them. A small amount of detonation could be a major problem.
I've seen people make more power than that with no problems as of yet... but 450 seems to be the general concensus.
There are, however, people with nitrous making more power than the blown guys... the motors seem to have an easier time dealing with it than a blower (the rods in particular).

What about using a Spearco intercooler? Its air to air which I need up here in Alaska since the temps drop and could freeze with an air-liquid cooler that VOrtech offers.
