Tips are a personal preference, at the least, get stainless steel tips.

I had some Magnaflow 3.5" exit, 2.5" entrance, 15 degree angle cut, rolled tip, stainless steel tips.. and I loved them.

My personal favorite is the slash cut that came on stock GTs 99-04

very long stainless polished tips that are the same size from end to end (no goofy flaring) I picked up a set from rodshopperformance.com but they are not long enough. I would just buy some muffler back (axle back) polished stainless 2.5-3 inch tips (no bigger) and be done with it. Welded on tip that you can see the weld look like TOTAL CRAP on 94-98 cars.
Also angle em up a bit, trust me if you have them even they will look like they are pointed down. Also get the angle cut as the stock ones have the flat ones look stupid.

I'm with Brandon on pretty much everything he just said.
I have 3.5 inch tips, but I also have a 99, so I think it fits better.

yea I have 4 inch on my car, but the bumper holes are for that size~ since you dont have bumper cut outs you dont need a super huge tip~

I don't have cut outs either, and 3.5" is perfect. For my model years, imo.
For a 94-98, 3" is as big as I'd go.

you do not want to go chrome, they will rust in a matter of days. Stainless steel polished is the ONLY way to go, sure they cost more... but they are worth it in the end. Flowmaster may sell muffler tips (muffler out) for 100 -150 bucks~

you can buy tips that go all the way back to the muffler, so you basically weld em to the back of the muffler. Some go to right above the axle. Some still are for any application and are say X inches long. I would make sure the polished portion was at least 20 inches long (24 would be ideal)

check magnaflow and flowmaster for polished tips and you will see what i mean, they are long so they dont show where they are not polished.
