Just got it today! it was too good of a deal to pass up 
it's not officially mine as I haven't sent him the money yet, but it is in my posession so that I can test it out

a friend of a friend. He went home this weekend to see his family and picked it up for me, and he goes back in 2 weeks so I'll either send the money or the gun with him.
I just have to hit the atm and get the cash, plus I have a couple things on ebay that are helping to defray the costs so I can still go to WFC and to the black hills this month

.40 caliber, 4" barrel, 10 shot magazine, polymer frame, stainless steel slide, safety built into the trigger, dual action only. It's a very basic gun but suppose to be very dependable.

they have it on the S&W website, it's 7.5" long I think. basically a midsized handgun but it fits the hands very nicely

hey that isn't wasted mod money, it's an investment! Take that to a 711 and boom! more mod money! :P
Looks nice though, the one gun I thought I'd really like was a P-99, when I actually got to shoot it though I absolutely hated it. You have to pull the trigger back.. and back.. and back.. up to the point where you think "Uh, when is this thing going to shoot?" Then it'll shoot. Too bad too

mine is kind of the same way, but it's suppose to be that way as a DAO (dual action only) pistol. the long trigger pull is basically an additional safety. you will never get a short/crisp pull with a DAO gun.
I may be a newb to handguns, but I'm not a newb to guns in general, I've been hunting since I was young I'm always sure to keep it pointed in a safe direction and my finger stays off of the trigger unless I'm ready to pull it.

only gun id want is a PP7 with teh silencer. carry that little fucker in my coat pocket when i go to formal dining occasions and the KGB show up. man i just shitted on every bond movie ever made.
