I was talking to my brother last night and I told him I was going to lower my car, and he warned me that If I put new springs on, itll cause wheel camber, I thought that only happened when you cut the springs, he said he did his friends suspension a while ago on his prelude, and he said he got wheel camber and went through tires every other month, until he finally got a camber kit and he said that didnt even fully fix it. Im thinking if done right, it shouldnt cause any camber, whats your input guys?

He is right. If you lower your car beyond 1.2in the lower you go increases the chances you will need C&C plates and once you hit 1.5 there is no question YOU WILL NEED plates!!!

i would get cc plates regardless of the drop cuz even on stock cars they wear the inside of the tires so it seems~ They may run 180 bucks but the maximum motorsport cc plates are a MUCH better than any other brand out there. You can go cheap and you may get by but... I wouldnt risk it. Once installed a good shop can use them to align the car.
You CAN give it a shot first and see if the car goes back to stock specs and it may.. but like I said stock specs wear the tires a bit off~ but for handling thats whats going to happen anyway.
I had them put my black car to .5 camber and the tires wore great.

something else you can do is drill out the slots on your strut tower so the stock plates can be adjusted more. Thats free and it will work.
