Torque converter

Well guys. I was given the offer of buying a Precision Industries 3000 stall Stallion torque converter with 200 miles on it for $550 shipped.

It does have the lock up feature that I feel is a neccesity for a daily driver, BUT it is not a multi disc 3 plate design...

The seller said he had never heard of anyone using a multi disc on a 3.8, but that's all I've heard recommended....it's a good price for a PI, but I don't know about only being a single plate...

What's the verdict guys?

Check with the manufacturer and see what they can handle. Youd be suprised at how sturdy some tq converters can be.

Looking at your sig youmight be able to get away with the single disk.
If it were me I would get a multi disk. General rule of thumb power adder go with a mulit.

I will be upgrading from a single to a multi later this year.
