I really dont think its a spark issue. If it had to do with the dizzy I would suspect that it would be more consistant and not just at complete wide open throttle. I think its the fuel pump to be honest... thats where everything seems to point right now.

As said above bchange the bitch then. I was just shooting off the cuff and trying to help diagnose a problem. If the pump doeas not work just come back to me and we can talk on the phone about the distributor. In computer cars with distributors everything is relative. What kind of fuel pressure do you have????

I dont know, my guage broke so I dont have a guage anymore... I have a new one of those coming too. Im trying to find someone local that has a pressure guage that I can watch the pressure during WOT because that would help me out a lot. Im going to change the pump, just gotta buy the new one.

Its just frustrating, seems like I just have one problem after another. My v6 gave me 0 problems after those damn head gaskets, but at least I knew what that was.

Dude if I was there I would help you. You really need a good fuel pressure reading. Even though you might want to change the pump anyway, shotgunning a problem with parts can be costly. I still think there may be issues with the distributor or even dual issues.

I really dont think its the fuel pump now... Ive been reading a lot of threads on the corral and it seems that with the a9l swap that the guy before me did to the car, I definitely need an aftermarket ignition. He even had one in the engine bay, but it wasnt hooked up so I just pulled it off. Weird thing about it though is the fact that it worked normal for so long... why would that be? Its doing everything that those guys blame not having an ignition box will do. It misfires right around 4k RPMs...
Anyone know a way to check and see if an MSD box is good or bad? WHenever I tried hooking this box up to my car, it ran like crap. I dont know if its a bad box, or if I just didnt hook it up right.
Tomorrow Im gonna throw this MSD box back on it and hope for the best.

IT WORKS!!!! ITS ALIVE ONCE AGAIN FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!
omfg Im am so happy... I must have hooked it up wrong, or something else was bad the last time I hooked this MSD box up. Today I hooked it up, reset the computer, drove around for a while to get the computer all back to normal, got onto the highway and just gunned it. The bastard finally went flying past 4k all the way to redline without a skipped beat. Im so happy!!!
