I am going to pick up the Da Vinci Code tomorrow and wanted to know what you all are reading so I can get 1 or 2 more while I am there.

Jack Higgins is good, Dan Brown's other books are good. I love Dale Brown. History wise, anything by Stephen Ambrose. I could go on but I am tired lol

I'm currently reading business statistics, should be breaking out the marketing books tomorrow night. These seem to be very interesting.

I need a good fiction author. Either bio fiction or even a little sci fi that's not just out there in left field.

Have you ever read any L. Ron Hubbard???
I really shouldn't joke like that... scientologists have feelings too.

fiction:
1) "outbound flight" by timothy zahn... yes, it's a star wars book, but zahn is a plot twisting mastermind. you won't be disappointed if you read any of his books, star wars or not
2) "angels & demons" by dan brown... better than da vinci code, imo. it's the book that came out before it. the plot is more intricate, and the twists are excellent
nonfiction:
1) "a case for a creator" by lee strobel... a former athiest investigates the evidence of science in an attempt to disprove god, but end up convinced that god exists. actual interviews with some of the world's foremost scientists
2) "a case for christ" by lee strobel... a former athiest investigates the historical reliability of the bible from 14 different angles... actual interviews with some of the world's foremost scientists and historians
3) "a case for faith" by lee strobel ... a former athiest investigates the 8 barriers to faith, interviewing several renowned philosophers
i've read all of these, and enjoyed them immensely...

Thanks. I was recommended Angles and Demons too
A Case for a Creator sounds good as well.

So has anyone here actually read the Da Vinci Code yet, and if so, is it worth the time?

i liked it... just remember that it is in fact, fiction... and as a fictional mystery/thriller is is very good
i just liked "Angels & Demons" better, becuz the plot is more intricate
i love intricacy
