It's all about taste. I think it looks good when done correctly.

I used to have blue, but ater a while I got tired of it and ended up just taking them off. I guess it just didn't go with the look I was going for.

In retrospect, I feel kind of bad about taking them off...it was one of the last projects me and my dad did together on the car. Now his back is in too bad a shape to do anything concerning the car anymore.

Think that's why I leave mine on. Me and my dad spent weeks on the wiring for it.

I have blue ones on my car. They're cool for about a month. I never use em. Partly because of the legalness of it.

Yeah, mine didn't work at first. He thought of the idea of a connection being loose in the connector box. Sure enough it was a little loose but still making contact. I didn't think that would have caused it but he did. And sure enough he fixed it.

Why do we feel the need to put lights on the bottom of the car. I use to give people hell about it because I think it is ghey and mega ricer. But I understand the pressure on young people to be tacky and wannbe like the thug rap artist drug dealers with their bling crap and tacky trinkets found on sale at walmart and Pepboys on the useless automotive junk isles.

Very true. I like my stereo but not as much as I used to. I will still like the crispness, but not so much the bass.

I dunno about growing out of stereos. True...my tastes have changed as far as sound of the stereo, but I've yet to come across a factory system that does most songs any justice. It's just amazing to let someone listen to their favorite song in a good stereo and watch their face when they start hearing lines in the song they have never heard before. There's hidden bass lines that most ppl have never heard.

Precisely. That sound you get from a good stereo that lets you hear parts, tones, and sounds in songs you didn't even know were there.
