wondering if anyone here could help me
I've recently broken rings in 4 of my 8 pistons, this is due to the fact that I was reluctant to ever get a tune for my car, and also due to the fact that I used to drive it pretty damn hard.
now im easing off the pedal, but I still want to have a decent street runner and im looking for a place in alabama or tennessee that does good dyno tuning work, minimum dyno and wideband, but i'd like to do a few of the whole bells and whistles runs, anybody know anywhere? preferably between nashville and birmingham. one that specializes in latemodel v8 mustangs.
BTW i did do a lil searching, but I wanted the most recent answer to this question

Track Masters is here in Huntsville. They've got a chassis dyno and wideband. The guy who owns it specializes in Hondas, but I doubt it's that different. You might have to provide your own software, though. That's the only one I know of. I put my car on their dyno a couple of times just for numbers.

There's supposed to be a good one in Cullman, Mustang dyno and everything.

yeah I checked with delk, also with alabama mustang the difference between the two and what they said they'd do for me is one is an SCT dealer and the other a DIABLO motorsports dealer + 125 bucks
I think i'd rather have a tuner thats closer to home.. not that I wouldn't drive to lebanon considering I work out that area often but more or less that their price was better and the wait time was less, not to meantion
I could go at the drop of a hat.
what do you guys think? is the name and the chip worth the extra 125? plus the cost of trailoring it that far.

SCT IMO opinions is much superior to diablo on most of the reviews ive had plus delk is more expensive. I dealt with alabama mustangs at a car show in cullman they have a portable dyno and they are pretty knowledgeable about mustangs. so i would go with them when i get my blower ill be going back to them

Arthur at Trackmasters is good people. The majority of work he does is on imports, but, for 100 dollars he'll throw it up on the dyno with a wideband. If you have a handheld programmer, he'll help you squeeze all you can out of it with the timing, fuel etc. He's also got an all motor Civic Hatchback that will mop the floor with most of the V-8's in town
