ok... so i found one on ebay (the one that comes with swaybars, springs, shocks, struts) and it says the swaybars were never used, but the springs, shocks, and struts were used for 12,000 miles. Would it be worth it to get this for a good price? I cant imagine that 12,000 miles would hurt the stuff... but is there anything i should look out for?

if its cheap enough, I personally like the ford c springs better, nearly the same rate ( c springs re 650 front and 300 rear~) but the C's drop a bit more 3/4 of an inch is NOT enough, you will barly notice it. The sway bars are nearly identical to 99+ gts as well~ but they do help a bit. C springs are 100 bucks, I would just buy the springs and save some unless the auction price is really cheap. You can cut a bit from the c springs and get a good drop and good handling.

well my car has about 110,000 miles on it. will i need to worry about replacing my shocks/struts any time soon? i was just thinking about this kit because it all may need to be replaced sometime soon and i thought it would be better to buy it as a package.

I would piece my own kit out of better parts. The Bullitt kit is good, but you can get better stuff if your going to take the time to do it.

I have the bullitt kit with c springs. And if your car has that many miles, I'd def recommend changing shocks/struts when you change springs or else you'll end up like brent was for a few years, with the most uncomfortable ride ever and bottoming out on every bump.

so do you think there would be a problem installing springs, struts, and shocks that have been used for 12,000 miles?

As long as they are in good shape and at a good discount, I don't see a problem.

did you cut your c springs? because your car look pretty low. im thinking the springs that come with the bullit kit will be good for me because i dont want much of a drop... i just want to improve my handling. i cant really afford to drop my car more than .75 or an inch because my drive way is kind of steep.

Yeh, I cut 3/4 coil off the front and 1/2 coil off the back.
