Hi, i just found out my shocks have gone to crap and im looking to get them done. Im looking to get them done right and just wanted to know what you guys suggest in terms of brand, where to buy them, what kind to get and what i would need. Im looking to getting it done right the first time and get some performance from it, but at the same time im not looking to spend too much on something i dont need (such as super showy suspension or like drag racing shocks). Also, im lookin to drop it an inch so i figured id do it at the same time and any suggestions would be appreciated. If possible, can u guys also post some ball park prices for the parts and where i can get them. Thanx a lot.

When my shocks go bad, I plan to get the Tokico's that come standard on Mach 1's. They are a little pricey but worth it apparently.

I have the HP tokicos for $320 shipped if you're interested. That's about the cheapest I think you'll find them.

are you looking to lower the car or work on the suspension, or simply stay stock?

He's wanting to lower it slightly while he's changing shocks. I'd recommend, for cost benefit, going with ford c springs and tokico s/s of your choice. I have the bullitt s/s, but the mach1's are fine.
