crate engine ???

i have a 99 V6 auto and im set not on throwning in a crate engine. what im not sure about is all the other components i would need to finish out the job once i get it. also if i got those piecies prior to the engine arriving, would it hurt to put them on in preparation for the new engine. any help is appricitated.

Are you talking about getting a long or short block?

what kind of crate motor? a super six 4.2L? a 281? 351? 302? it all depends on what kinds of motor you chose.. if u chose a v8 then u might need to change a lot of things.. wiring harness--> rear end 8.8. k member etc etc...

i am goin with a 4.2 shortblock in my car........all i am modifying is true dual exhaust, 8.8 rear, building up my auto tranny, and a ported/polished upper intake. i really dont think you need to modify anything else

yea im a move up to and 8 so i would need to know. i want a 402IR which is a long block. u know what all i would need with this ???
