Got my programmer in and tested the hi-performance setting and my gas mileaged went from15.8-18.3 now i'm trying the towing setting and I believe I might hit 20mpg and that is ALL city with lots of stop and go. I'm a driver for dominos so that is an awesome improvement. Now I can't wait to take my first trip and see what I get. The added performance is nice to. Added 12hp and around 10tq to the ground which is pretty noticeable since my truck only had 148hp and 180tq at the crank. Over all i'm happy with it. Definately suggest to anyone considering getting one to get it!

I wonder, if I got a car tuner for my car, could I get better mpg?
Oh and this really pisses me off.
The new Hyundai Sinata has 30mpg and 234 hp. Meanwhile Ford makes a gas guzzling V6 with what, 18-19mpg? I can't remember, and a whooping 200hp? Awsome. I'm just angry at Ford at the moment.

I'm sure you would see the same if not better mileage then me. I have a motor that is under powered for the weight plus I am running 4.10's with 30.5in tires.
Honestly what I would do with your car is. CAI, UDP, exhaust and then the programmer. That should be a very nice improvement. The only other thing you can do is lay off the pedal lol. I usally try and keep my rpms around 2k and it makes a good difference then say you ran it past 3k all the time.

I got 30 mpg in my car.... with CAI, true dual exhaust... and oh yeah, that's it. That's interstate driving... in the city, I was balls to the wall all the time... still got 20-21 mpg. Maybe I just had a factory freak. Best trip I ever had, I averaged 31.5 mpg on a 6 hour interstate trip. I got 30.2 miles a gallon average all the way to Texas and back.

Ha...ppl complaining about gas mileage. Sure, I put it on the 87 mpg tune on the highway, but I still keep it with 93 performance tune in the city. Never know when you might need it...I must say though, it's nice hitting 200 miles and still having half a tank left..

I nearly always get 200 miles at half a tank easy, then it all goes down hill... wtf is up with ford every mustang ive had has done it, half a tank you get 200 miles~ then the LAST HALF you get 100.

WHAT THE CRAP?
My car, my little 3.8L V6 2002 Mustang gets up to 150 miles at half tank if I'm lucky and don't drive it wrecklessly, like gunning it up the freeway and stuff.
But your V8 car gets 200 at half tank?
Consider me a pissed off Mustang owner.

I get 200 miles at half a tank driving normally, using boost, and mainly city, I would say 70 percent city driving. On a full tank I seem to get 270ish~ depending
I get 18-21mpg
