Hey guys, I have a 2000 v6 mustang. I just want to know that if installing MAC headers, H-pipe (no cats) and dual exhaust will give me more power? and what can I do to make my car faster but not spending to much money on it? how about changing my fly wheel?

headers and an h pipe are pretty much worthless, it makes it very loud and thats not what you really want on a stock motor v6. I would do a cat back and be done with the exhaust for now.
CAI, exhaust, under drive pulley, dyno tune with a chip, and rear gears/tlok seem to be the mods most people start with.
I wouldnt worry with the flywheel either until you have soem serious power.

check our vendors... VMPTuning have their tuners for sale. SCT 2 tuner seems to be sexy, as 04stang's stang, rox mine... which is bone stock except for K&N Airfilter and 17x9 rims.

the ONLY way you should EVER get a chip/programmer/tunner is from a very good car tuner, NOT just off the shelf. We have some good tuners on the site I would talk to them and see what will work best for you.

LT's arent worthless, they dyno at about 7rwhp on a stock V6 with deleted cats. And they make it sound much better.

This has been proven time and again. Headers are pretty much worthless on v6's and don't even do that much on GT's. Stock manifolds are fine for a pretty decent powerlevel. With serious engine work or a poweradder is the only time I would put money into headers, which I did.

Stock hearders are good to about 300 rwhp Why waste the money and time to install LT's for 7rwhp

I'll guarantee 5-6 of that hp came from deleted cats.

plus, wouldn't doing the LT headers, with no cats, on a stock v-6 cost you a decent amount of torque? Without torque... life sucks.

Just dont listen to neatofrito... he's a dumbass 16 year old that just says what he hears 3 million times and thinks its correct info. Neato, if you try your bullshitting like you do on 3.8, you'll be outta here faster than RSD customs was desponsored. I wont put up with your shit here.

Aristotle was famous for knowing everything. He taught that the brain exists merely to cool the blood and is not involved in the process of thinking. This is true only of certain persons --i.e. neatofrito...

First of all numb nuts, stock 3.8 headers can only support about 300 crank hp, and I didnt say it was a "good" mod, I was just saying its not completly useless. The only reason I even put them on my V6 is because of nitrous. And yes, about 3rwhp of the 6-7 is from the deleted cats, the LT's alone are only good for about 3-4rwhp.
