Does anyone have a 96 mustang ( I dont knwo if the fuse set up is different on years or not..) I believe from what some guys on here have told me my fuse for my cruise control might be what is causing it not to work....well it could be other things but I am gonna check the "little" things first....neway does anyone have the number of the fuse that goes for the cruise control? I dont have an owners manual and I dont want to go spend the $30 bux right now for one when all it could be is the fuse....ne help would be much appreciated...

u could get a hayne manual from a auto store for i think 18 dollars that has all that in it or u could get under the steering wheel and check all the fuses and the ones under the hood and see if any are blown or corroded....might be a good thing ti check anyway to prevent future problems

went to autozone..looked into a manula and it had jack crap in it for fuses....it didnt even say anything about where or what fuses are what...im lost...i think the fuse box under my dash on my driver side had the fuse ( #15) in it for my cruise control but I want to make sure.....would it be a bad idea to just go ahead and get ALL new fuses?

ok this is out of my manual, should be the exact same though.
Does anything else not work besides your cruise control? Clock maybe?
Heres what the fuse box looks like under there:
Heres the list of what does what:

The fuse is more than likely the problem... lights on your instrument panel (if youre referring to the guages) are just burnt out lights. You can remove the guage cluster and replace those bulbs.

Remove the pod bezel then remove the four torx headed screws that hold the dash bezel in place, remove the two wiring harnesses connected to it - then carefully lift the pod out of the dash.
Do a search for mustang pod install you should find one with pictures something like http://www.egauges.com/pdf/AutoMeter/824b.pdf

its really not hard... if you cant do it take it somewhere that can, it shouldnt be too expensive as it takes about 5 minutes to remove the guages.

Would I have to remove my steering wheel before I do all this or not?
