installing speakers?

Hello, I am very illiterate when it comes with installing car audio. I have a 2001 mustang, and someone I work with just gave me 2 150 watt Sony Xplod speakers. The audio I have right now is all stock and I was wondering how I install them. I am fine with installing them in the door panels or the trunk, whichever one is easier. If someone could please help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

They won't work without modifying the speaker opening. I don't think they have adapters for 5 1/2" speakers for Mustangs. I know they have adapters for 5 1/4" speakers.

I'd sell them and buy 5 1/4 w/ an adapter or 5x7/6x8 which are the correct size

Yeh, you will have a problem making them fit without adapters. Adapters are cheap however if you can find them. I'm putting 6.5 components in my doors at the moment, so I think I might can help ya out a little on the installation.
