gray/ titanium frost? 89 LX hatch 5.0 for sale..

Went to check it out..

first.. looked clean from a distance.. had porno red interior.. automatic.. had 69k on the clock.. but had to be 169k.. asking price 4200, said rebuilt trans, AC, $4200 o/BO

Looked it over... paint was glossy.. looked closer... it was resprayed.. probably a maaco job... all the rust points that hadn't been prepped (IE a maaco 'ambassador' respray) had large bubbling points under the paint.. and after completely marring the paint job to sand down the rust.. it'd probably need at least 1 1/4 panel or a lot of bondo.. looked under car... no rot that I could see... but it was oilier underneath than my 92 was.. and my '92 would DUMP oil down the back of the engine.. everything appeared to be leaking under the car.. radiator, engine, trans, AND rear all had fluid under them

Its a shame but unfortunately you really have to check a fox out before you buy it.. a lot can happen in 17 years...

I had a silver 93 gt I paid 4k for in 2000.Sold it a year later for 7500.....
That car was clean I wish I kept it.

btw Titanium wasnt until 1990, in 1989 it was just "light gray"

it was repainted remember.. as I stated.. and it was not the flat gray you see on a lot.. it was metallic and glossy.. coulda been a custom color but... that's why I said titanium frost.. and I was one year off =p weren't you also the one that stated way back when that my 89 was not a 25th anniv. edition? but it was?

and bane, can't have too many foxes =p besides the notchback is sold
