sorry to dissapoint you, but its a sucky install. You just need a regular ratchet with deepwell sockets. you may also need a breaker bar because they can be really tight. thats pretty much all you need. you will also have to take your egr valve off and your air intake. it is just hard to get them out and back in... not much room to move around in there. you will need someone to help you also.
So yeah... take off air intake, take off egr, have a ratchet, deep well sockets (dont remember the size), breaker bar (really long ratchet), and possilby the same size wrench. i had to use a monkey wrench did get my egr valve off because it was the only thing big enough. but i think thats about it. someone who knows more than me will probably come in here soon.

I changed my passenger manifold without jacking the car up and I'm lowered about 1.5 inches...just take your time and don't strip anything out. On the passenger side, you will need to remove egr and intake as stated above. I've found the easiest way to do the egr tube is to take a pair of robogrips or something similar that is easily adjustable and take your time.

The most frustrating part is getting the egr tube off.

And do these aftermarket headers have the spot for the egr to bolt in? If not, you will need an egr delete, contact rdcustom about those, that's where I got mine. He's a site sponsor.

you wont gain any power for the most part either. I would just fix the leak and not worry with it.
