Hi all,
I have not had a Mustang since my '99 GT and am thinking of getting a new toy . I have had a few Stang's in the past '84, '90 and '99 all GT's. I just test drove a '06 GT and enjoyed it but it didn't feel as fast as my '99, but it has been a few years. I don't go crazy with Mod's just simple bolt on stuff. Just trying to get some feedback on what you guy's think? And if you don't mind why you feel the way you do.
Thanks ahead of time
Tim

First off, welcome to the site. Secondly..it all depends. If it was me, I'd pick up a 03/04 gt and do bolt ons with the left over money you would have spent on the 06. The new body style still hasn't grown on me...

I'm with lowflyn... I prefer the older body styles... plus, you can mod them with the left over money.

get an older cobra. use the left over money for mods. 4v > all
plus an old cobra vs a new gt, insurance will work out about the same.. maybe even a little less on the cobra

Thanks for all the input. I'm torn I like 99-04 but the new seems nice to. I'm not big on the new style but it does seem to have more room. I guess it will be what I can find when my truck sells. I'll be sure and come back with a bunch of questions when I get one. Thanks again.

my advice is to test driver every car in your range that you would consider and go with what you like the most, not just a down the road drive a good test drive.
